Armenia affirms its readiness to cooperate with Syria in the health and medical fields

Yerevan, (ST) – The Armenian Minister of Health Anahid Avanisyan discussed with the Syrian Ambassador to Armenia Nora Arissian means of cooperation in the health sector between Syria and Armenia.

Avanesian stressed the importance of cooperation in the health field between the two countries. She expressed her readiness to cooperate at all levels in the health and medical sector.

In her turn, Arissian drew attention to the achievements made by Syria despite the challenges it has been going through, the terrorist war it has been exposed to, and the unilateral economic sanctions that affected all sectors, especially the health sector.
