The Exhibition is an opportunity to exchange experiences, says Participants in the Energy and Electricity Exhibition

Damascus, (ST) – The Participants in the exhibition of energy, electricity and industrial automation “Syria Energy”, which was held on the grounds of the exhibition city in Damascus as part of the series of specialized Syrian exhibitions, said that the exhibition is an opportunity to exchange opinions and experiences, and to see everything new in the world of energy and electric power projects that have a major role in various industrial and commercial sectors.

In a statement to SANA correspondent, the Director General of the Electricity Generation Establishment, Eng. Ali Haifa stated that the ministry participated in the exhibition through the “generation and transmission” institutions and the National Center for Energy Research, to introduce the work of the ministry and the projects it implements.

“The ministry also participated in the exhibition to presenting lectures focused on the investment law in the field of electric energy and projects Renewable energy in Syria, and projects in which the private sector can be a partner through investment or partnership, in addition to introducing the renewable energies support fund, and encouraging the use of renewable energies due to the burdens it provides on the state and citizens”, Haifa added.

Mahmoud Dardawil of the Syrian General Company for Electricity and Telecommunications Networks indicated that the exhibition constitutes an opportunity to enhance cooperation in this field with similar companies in Arab and foreign countries.” It is also known more about the work of the company specialized in decorative and road lighting and solar energy”, he added.

For his part, Energy Services Eng. Zuhair Zaitouni from the Green Energy Company said that their participation in the exhibition is to introduce the services provided by the company, and exchange experiences between the participating sectors and companies.

Eng. Atris Masouti of the Trust Group for Alternative Renewable Energy indicated that the exhibition is also a space for defining the needs of the participating companies for the labor force of students of applied colleges and recent graduates, where suitable job opportunities can be provided for them.

Hassan Sukkar, Director of the Excellence Group for Water Heating Solutions considered that the exhibition contributes by meeting directly between companies and visitors, knowing their needs and opinions about the quality and specifications of the provided devices, and what are the most popular devices in the market, which improves companies’ services and enhances their presence in the local and foreign markets.

Eng. Mohamed Othman of the Hawat Solartech Company, which specializes in solar panels, batteries and alternative energy systems said that the exhibition is an opportunity to announce their presence in the market, exchange opinions and experiences with those interested in their field of work, learn about everything new in their field of specialization. “It opens new horizons for economic cooperation with local, Arab and foreign companies”, he added.

Abdel-Jalil Shehadeh of the Emirati company “AGS International” referred to the great Syrian interest in renewable energy and investment in it. He stressed the company’s readiness to provide special support to those wishing to implement large projects in this field.

Eng. Abed Louis of the Lebanese company Golden Scent drew attention to the benefit achieved by the exhibition to exchange experiences in the field of renewable energy. He added that this exhibition presents new products in a sector that enjoys global interest in terms of finding solutions to the traditional scarcity of energy resources and the increase in demand for them.

It is noteworthy that the activities of the series of specialized Syrian exhibitions, which started last Thursday, and concluded yesterday evening, with the participation of 150 local, Arab and foreign companies distributed in the “Energy, Electricity and Industrial Automation Syria Energy” exhibitions, the “Syrian International Industrial Exhibition Synex” and the “Syrian International Exhibition for Building, Construction and Infrastructure Technobuild”, on the grounds of the New Fair City in Damascus.
