Potato with garlic and coriander 

A delicious traditional Syrian appetizer made with fried potatoes and cilantro

The traditional way to cook these potatoes is to deep-fry them so they are nice and crispy but you could drizzle a little olive oil over them and roast them in the oven for 45 minutes
The ingredients used in the dish are quite beneficial, in terms of health.  garlic has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. In fact, the vegetable is known to be very high in Vitamin A, Vitamin B6 and Vitamin B2, Vitamin E, potassium, fiber, potassium, niacin and several other nutrients.

It is a versatile dish that you can think of both as a side or even a unique potato salad.

Ingredients: 

Two large potatoes cut into an inch cubes 

4 garlic cloves (use more or less to taste) 

A handful of coriander  

Olive oil 5 tbsp 

1 lemon juice 

 

Boil or fry the potatoes.  

Heat the olive oil on low heat. Add the garlic and coriander and remove immediately from the heat.  

Add the potato and the lemon juice. Mix well and season to taste.
