Morales: Washington is the one behind the coups in Latin American countries

La Paz (ST): The former President of Bolivia, Evo Morales, confirmed that the United States is the one behind the coups in Latin America, considering that Washington has begun to lose its hegemony in the region.

Morales said in an interview with the Russian agency Sputnik: “American policies fail, and when they deteriorate, they resort to violence, and when they lose hegemony, they resort to weapons and bullets.”

Morales considered that the United States is behind “the judicial coup against Argentine Vice President Christina Kirchner during the past month, and later the coup by Congress in Peru and the attempted coup in Brazil against President-elect Luis Inacio Lula da Silva, in the style of Donald Trump by storming government institutions.”

The United States has been interfering in the affairs of Latin American countries for a long time, and US-backed coups have claimed the lives of tens of thousands of innocent people because of the chaos in the countries in which Washington intervenes.
