For the second day consecutively, the’ Mermaids Palace Center’ in Daraa continued to settle the status of wanted persons and deserters from military service, according to the agreement proposed by the State.
A local notable of al-Sanamayn, expressed his thanks to the competent authorities for reopening the center and preparing it to allow the fugitives the opportunity to return to be active in their society based on the amnesty decree, indicating that he attended with his two sons who left their military unit in order to return to serving and defending the homeland.
Locals stated that the settlements amount to “clearing hearts and contributing to strengthening the state of security and stability,” calling on the young men who have been deceived to return and join their military units and take advantage of the amnesty decree.
Locals further stated that the settlement is “a blank page that paves the way for the return of those who have deserted from service or those who have failed it to practice a normal life,”. The locals stressed the importance of all wanted persons joining the settlement process in order to enhance the state of stability.
The competent authorities opened yesterday the Settlement Center in the Al-Houriat Palace in the center of Daraa city for a period of two days to allow all those wanted to settle their situations in accordance with the terms of the agreement proposed by the state.
