In the field of sculpture, the committee awarded the first prize to Sacher Lao, the second to Rabie Khalil, and the third equally between Joan Sha’abo and Manaf Hassan.

The awards ceremony included an art exhibition that displayed the work of the participating youth with twenty sculptures and a painting that they created to express their different visions and methods, relying on the recycling of environmental waste such as glass, plastic, metal and cloth away from the use of familiar wood and clay materials.

The teacher at the Institute of Applied Arts, Waddah Salameh, referred to the importance of this competition, which is held to support young sculptors and painters, especially as it allowed this session to develop horizons of creativity by relying on the recycling of environmental waste.
