Capitals (ST): The Corona virus has claimed the lives of more than 5 million and 184 thousand people around the world since its outbreak began in December 2019, according to the latest statistics from the American World Meters website.
According to the website, the total number of corona infections around the world has so far reached 25,891,2113, and the total deaths have reached 5,184,348 cases, while the total number of recoveries from infection has reached 2,34,256,902 cases.
The United States continues to lead the countries most affected by the virus in terms of infections and deaths, with 795,834 deaths out of 4,8811,860 infections, followed by India with 466,147 deaths out of 3,4533,473 infections, and Brazil third, with 613,066 deaths out of 2,2030,182 infections.
