Corona virus kills more than 5 million and 167,000 people around the world

Capitals (ST): The Corona virus has killed more than five million and 167,000 people around the world since its outbreak began in December 2019, according to the latest statistics from the American World Meters website.

According to the website, the total number of corona infections around the world has so far reached 25,783,374 cases, and the total deaths to 5,167,416 cases, while the total number of recoveries from infection has reached 2,3270,929 cases.

The United States continues to lead the countries most affected by the virus in terms of infections and deaths, with 793,640 deaths out of 48591521 infections, followed by India with 465,662 deaths out of 34510704 injuries, and Brazil third with 612,659 deaths out of 22017,276 infections.
