Mexico records a record daily number of Corona infections

Mexico City (ST): The Mexican Ministry of Health announced the registration of 24,975 new infections with the Coronavirus, the highest daily number of infections since the virus spread in the country.

Reuters quoted the ministry as saying that 608 new deaths from the virus were recorded during the last 24 hours, noting that the total number of infections reached 3 million and 45 thousand and 571 cases, while the total number of deaths reached 246 thousand and 811 cases.

This comes a day after Mexico crossed the threshold of 3 million infections with the Coronavirus, according to official data, while the authorities indicate that the real number of infections and deaths may be higher.
