Capitals (ST): The new Corona virus has claimed the lives of more than four million and 239 thousand people around the world since its appearance in December 2019, according to the latest statistics of the American World Meters website.

According to the website, the total number of corona virus infections around the world has reached 198,947,660, and the total number of deaths has reached 4,239,148, while the total number of people recovering from infection with the virus has reached 1,795,66318 cases.

The United States continues to lead the countries most affected by the virus in terms of infections and deaths, with 629,380 deaths out of 3,576,653 infections, followed by India with 424,808 deaths out of 316,95368 infections, and Brazil third, with 556,834 deaths out of 19933358 infections.
