New demonstrations against the SDFmilitias’ crimes and practices in Al-Shaddadi town, southern Hassaka

On January 11th, the people of Al-Shaddadi town, southern Hasaka, demonstrated for the second day in a row against the US-backed SDF militias’ arbitrary practices and crimes.

Civil sources said that the demonstrators  protested and denounced the violations of the SDF militias’ restrictions on the people and the abduction of young men to be forcibly recruited to fight in the SDF ranks.

The sources said that the SDF militants assaulted the demonstrators and beat them to disperse them, and kidnapped a number of people and took them to unknown destinations.

 

On January 10th , the town of Al-Shaddadi witnessed  demonstrations against the SDF militias’ repressive practices, as well as the raiding of homes and kidnapping of youths.
