The Israeli occupation continues to confiscate Palestinian lands in the West Bank in implementation of its expansionist scheme

The Israeli occupation authorities continue to confiscate Palestinian lands in the occupied West Bank with the aim of implementing the Israeli occupation’s expansionist settlement scheme with complete support by the administration of the outgoing US President Donald Trump, according to the Palestinian Liberation Organization’s (PLO) National Bureau for Defending the Land and Resisting the Apartheid Wall.

In its weekly report, the Bureau said that the occupation authorities have seized dozens of dunums from the Palestinians’ lands in several areas in the south and east of Bethlehem city and 1008 dunums from the land of a village in Qalqilia city in order to expand settlement building there.

The occupation’s open war on the olive trees in the occupied lands also continues, said the report, clarifying that the occupation forces sprayed hundreds of olive, grape and almond seedlings in an area of approximately 300 dunums in Deir Ballut village in Salfit city with lethal pesticides. They also uprooted more than a thousand olive trees and seedlings from Palestinian lands west of the city and razed wide areas of agricultural lands in Salfit’s western part, in preparation to establish settlement outposts that separate Salfit from the city of Qalqilia.

According to the report, the occupation forces bulldozed Palestinian lands in several villages in Salfit and Ramallah to expand settlement operations.

The occupation authorities also continue with adopting the policy of displacement and ethnic cleansing in the occupied city of Al-Quds. They delivered a notification to evacuate a Palestinian house in Batn al-Hawa neighborhood in the town of Silwan, south of the Al-Aqsa Mosque and demolished 4 commercial facilities and two houses in the towns of Anata and Beit Iksa, to north of Al-Quds, the report went on to say.

It added that the occupation forces demolished a house and several agricultural facilities in the town of Al-Khader, south of Bethlehem. They also delivered notification to demolish several houses as well as commercial and agricultural facilities in the villages of Anin and Tura, west of Jenin, and in the Al-Maleh area in the northern Jordan Valley.

The report indicated that the Israeli extremist settlers continued with their attacks on cities and towns in the West Bank under the protection of the occupation forces. They stormed several towns and villages in the cities of Al-Khalil and Ramallah. They also attacked Palestinian farmers and opened the sewage water towards their agricultural lands in Husan town in Bethlehem, that caused damage to agricultural crops. In addition, the settlers uprooted 400 olive trees in Fukin village in the West bank and 150 olive trees in Jaloud village, west of Nablus.

The report pointed out that the Israeli settlers stormed the archaeological area in the town of Sebastia, north of Nablus, as well as Umm al-Ebar area in the northern Jordan Valley and the village of Sarta in Salfit. They also attacked Palestinian houses, properties and vehicles in Ramallah.
