Erdogan regime is a threat to the Middle East, North Africa and the Caucasus, says Czech writer

Prague, (ST)  – Czech writer Philip Endler affirmed that the regime of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, with its aggressive and expansionist policies, is a threat to the regions of the Middle East, North Africa and the Caucasus.

“Erdogan does not hide his new aggressive Ottoman policy and he is not satisfied with practicing direct aggression, but rather sends his terrorists and mercenaries to Libya, the Caucasus and other regions and countries,” Endler said in an article published by a Czech website.

The Czech journalist Roman Januch affirmed in an article published today in the Halo Noviny newspaper that “Erdogan follows repressive policies inside Turkey and is getting rid of all his opponents.  Erdogan exploited the coup that took place against him in 2016 to carry out the largest purification operation in contemporary Turkish history to eliminate all his opponents and critics.

The journalist, Januch considered that Erdogan “does not care about the decisions of the European Court of Human Rights and others, although Turkey is still a candidate for joining the European Union, and therefore the decisions of European courts are Obligatory.”

Januch pointed out that Erdogan does not only ignore these decisions, but riduclises them. He said that Erdogan is also blackmailing the European Union by threatening to use the immigrants and refugees card.
