7th International Conference on Physical Education and Sports concluds with Syria’s participation

The 7th International Conference on Physical Education and Sports ( MINEPS VII) concluded its activities with Syria’s participation after recommending commitment to providing support for implementing all sport activities for different age groups.

The event was held in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, between June 26th to 29th.

The conferees stressed the need to combat doping, to carry out investments to support all forms of sports and to turn the “Lifelong Fitness Initiative”, which was the slogan of the conference, into constructive action.

The Syrian delegation discussed with other participating delegations mechanism of cooperation to enhance sports at schools snd increase participation in championships as sports are associated with ghe physical and psychological health.

Syria participated in the conference at an invitation from UNESCO and Azerbaijan.
