Marking the Syrian Army Day, the governorate of Aleppo, in coordination with the Directorate of the Martyrs, the Wounded and the Missing Affairs of the Ministry of Defense, honored 500 army martyrs’ families.
Aleppo Governor Hussein Diab said in a statement “the Syrian Arab Army was founded on the basis of national belonging, ideology, morals and strength, and its heroic deeds achieved major victories in the battlefields,” stressing that “the pure blood of the martyrs draws the future of the homeland so that it remains dignified, victorious, free and proud.”
This event of honoring martyrs’ families comes in recognition of the great sacrifices of the Syrian army, stressing that the army, under the leadership of President Bashar Al-Assad, will continue to achieve successive victories over the homeland’s enemies.
