3,409 Students in the 2022 Youth Olympiad in Mathematics and Science

The Excellence and Creativity Authority announced that 3,409 students from the seventh and eighth grades in public and private schools in various governorates will participate in the 2022 Science Olympiad for adolescents in mathematics and science.

The authority indicated in a statement that the first competition of applicants will be the tests that will be held remotely during the period between 8 and 13 next May, as follows: the biology test on 8 and 9, the mathematics test on 10 and 11, and the physics and chemistry test on 12 and 13. It indicated that the duration of each test is 45 minutes, and applicants can participate in it from their homes.It includes 18 questions.

The authority began accepting applications for registration for this Olympiad on the 23rd of last March until the 22nd  of this April.

 

It is noteworthy that the authority launched the Scientific Olympiad for adolescents in mathematics and sciences on March 14, 2021, with the aim of early identification of the talents of specialized scientific excellence, starting from the basic education stage, developing the skills of young people in mathematics and science, and teaching them the skill of managing priorities, organizing time, and intellectual and scientific skills through problem-solving in an innovative and creative a manner.
