2 citizens martyred, member of reconciliation committee injured in IED blast

 

Damascus Countryside – Two citizens were martyred and another one was injured when an explosive device planted by terrorists in a car of a member of the local reconciliation committee went off in Beit Sabir village in the west of Damascus Countryside.

Local sources in Beit Sabir village said that terrorists detonated an explosive device planted in a car belonging to Mohamed Hamza Zarifa, aka “al-Abbas,” a member of the local reconciliation committee in Beit Sabir, claiming the lives of 2 citizens, while Zarifa got severely injured, SANA reported.

The sources said that targeting Zarifa comes as part of the attempts of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists in Beit Jin farm to foil the reconciliation process in the western Damascus Countryside.
