12 teams from outstanding schools qualified for the 2022 National Robot Championship

DAMASCUS, March.20, (ST)-12 teams from outstanding schools in the governorates of Damascus and its countryside, Sweida, Homs, Aleppo, Hama, Lattakia and Tartous” qualified for the 2022 National Robot Championship.
 
According to the statement issued by the Distinction and Creativity Commission, the teams  qualified for the championship after they succeeded in the tests that were held for seventh and eighth grade students from 10 outstanding students and within their governorates last February.
 
The National Robotics Championship for 2022 is scheduled to be held next August, and it qualifies the students for the World Robot Olympiad, which will be held in Germany in mid-November under the title “My Robot My Friend”, where participants are asked to design and develop robots to carry out multiple tasks in parks, laboratories and hospitals and apply them in the national and world championships.
