100 martyrs’ families honored in Tartous

TARTOUS, May.16, (ST)- The branch of the Arab Socialist Ba’ath Party in Tartous, in cooperation with a group of Lebanese expatriates, honored on Monday 100 Martyrs’ families in the Banias area. 
 
The member of the party’s branch leadership, Mahmoud Shalish, told the Syrian Arab News Agency  (SANA)  that this honor is an expression of gratitude for the great sacrifices made by the martyrs’ families for the sake of the homeland, as they offered their souls to keep the flag of the homeland high.
 
The expatriate, Fahd Ibrahim, one of the participants in the ceremony, made it clear that the initiative was launched by a group of young people in the expatriate since 2016. 
 
For their part, the families of the martyrs expressed their thanks for this gesture.
