Zionist Soldier Injured in Al-Khalil

A Zionist woman soldier was shot and slightly wounded in the occupied West Bank city of Al-Khalil on Sunday, occupation rescue services said.

The woman was evacuated to ShaareT zedek hospital in al-Quds, an official said.

The shooting happened near a holy site in the heart of Al-Khalil’s Old City, which is known to Muslims as the Ibrahimi Mosque and to Jews as the Cave of the Patriarchs.

Some 500 Jewish settlers occupy the city and live under tight guard among around 200,000 Palestinians in the southern West Bank city, where several operations against the Zionist soldiers and settlers have been carried out in the past weeks.
