Union of Levant Scholars condemns Israeli occupation’s repeated violations against Al-Aqsa Mosque

Damascus, (ST) –  The Union of Levant Scholars has condemned the heinous crimes committed by the Israeli occupation entity over and over again, including storming into the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque. It called on the international community to break its suspicious silence and take necessary measures to stop the occupation’s crimes against the Islamic and Christian sanctities.

In a statement, the Union expressed its condemnation of and astonishment at the suspicious silence and the shameful complicity of many countries of the world regarding what is happening in the occupied Palestinian territories, clarifying that these countries claim protecting freedom and respecting for human rights in worshiping and practicing religious rituals. It stressed that these practices indicate these countries’ participation in the crimes of the occupation.

The Union pointed out that the Zionist criminals’ violations of sanctities and human rights are committed continuously in front of the international community without deterrence in complete disregard for the feelings of the Muslims and Christians.
