The Ministry of Health orders providing all necessary services to arrivals from Lebanon for free

The Ministry of Health issued an order to the health directorates of Rural Damascus, Homs, Tartous, Damascus and public hospitals, within to provide health services to arrivals from Lebanese territories.
The order includes providing free emergency medical treatment and diagnostic services in hospitals for arrivals coming from Lebanon, and emphasizing the readiness of the ambulance system to respond to emergency calls, and through the presence of ambulances at border crossings, in numbers commensurate with the need,.
The order includes providing full primary health care services free of charge to arrivals through border crossings and through health centers in places where arrivals are located, including reproductive health services, nutritional survey, psychological support and providing all vaccines within the expanded national program.
The order also includesproviding health services related to chronic and contagious diseases, epidemiological investigation of arrivals, and following up on the availability of medicines, supplies, and diagnostic and investigation methods for all disease cases, in addition to putting all hospitals and health centers in a state of full readiness and implementing the general emergency plan.
The Ministry pointed out the necessity of providing the border crossings with ambulances equipped with the necessary medical teams to continue working around the clock and provide their requirements, and to coordinate with the rest of the services and concerned authorities in the governorate.
The Ministry also requested that the Ambulance and Emergency Directorate in the Ministry be provided with periodic reports and that the Ambulance and Emergency Directorate be informed when support is needed from neighboring governorates.
