Larijani and Hatami: Sulaimani’s martyrdom turns the tables of the region and the world must confront American terrorism

Head of the Islamic Shura Council in Iran, Ali Larijani, affirmed today that the martyrdom of the Commander of the Quds Force in the Revolutionary Guards, Lieutenant-General Qassem Suaeimani, and his companions turned the tables in the region.

“You have committed a great crime, your name will be recorded in the history of the world alongside the perpetrators of the August 19, 1953 coup d’état and the American crime of shooting down an Iranian plane in July 1988,” IRNA quoted Larijani as addressing US President Donald Trump during the today’s session in the Council.

Larijani mentioned what martyr Sulaimani had achieved in defending the security of the region by fighting the terrorist “ISIS” organization. He added that “American officials said that the leader Suleimani wanted to take action against the American forces in the region but these allegations are false and the American people and the House of Representatives must know that Trump’s  allegations are nothing but a lie to cover up the war crime and the terrorist operation committed by America.

Iranian Defense Minister Brigadier Amir Hatimi said that the entire world shoulders the responsibility to confront  the American terrorism otherwise  this crime will be repeated and become the status quo.

The US issuance of an order to assassinate a senior Iranian leader is a stupid step and violates  all international laws, IRNA Iranian news agency quoted Hatimi as saying.

America is currently imposing a ban even on its European friends as it uses the dollar as a tool of war and repression of many countries.

Meanwhile, Iranian Prosecutor Jaafar Montazeri said that “a message was sent to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs today to legally follow up the American terrorist attack in international circles.”
