Kanaani: US accusations against Iran cannot diminish Washington’s responsibilities as a partner in the Israeli occupation’s crimes
Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Nasser Kanaani stressed that the US government’s false accusations against Iran cannot diminish the US administration’s international responsibilities in providing support, assistance and participation to the Zionist entity in all types of crimes this entity has committed in occupied Palestine and Lebanon.
Iranian news agency IRNA quoted Kanaani as saying: “World public opinion considers the US regime and its officials to be responsible for such humanitarian disasters,” stressing that the ridiculous scenarios invented by Washington against Tehran will not affect Iran’s determination to prosecute the perpetrators of crimes against the Iranian people and that the passage of time will not make the criminals immune from prosecution.
Kanaani described US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken’s allegations regarding Iran’s threats against former officials in this country as ridiculous and completely baseless, indicating that launching such allegations is only to influence the US elections and for specific political purposes, and is “not even worth responding to.”
