Erdogan-backed terrorists seize wide areas of agricultural lands, loot a water station in Hasaka countryside
HASAKA, (ST)- The terrorist groups affiliated to the Turkish occupation have newly seized wide areas of agricultural lands in Abu Rasin and Tal Tamer areas in Syria’s Hasaka.
The aggressive and provocative move comes within the framework of these group’s criminal and repressive acts against the locals in these areas with the aim of displacing them.
According to local sources, the Turkish occupation-backed terrorists who belong to the terrorist groups of “Sultan Murad”, Sukour Al-Shamal, Ahrar Al-Sharqiyeh” and Al-Mu’tasem Division” have forcibly seized hundreds of hectares of agricultural lands in Abu Rasin and Tal Tamer areas, planted them and prevented their owners from reaching or benefitting from them.
The sources indicated that the Turkish occupation through seizing the lands and preventing farmers from entering them, through plundering the crops in the occupied villages in the northern countryside of Hasaka and through spreading poverty and hunger in these areas, aims at forcing the locals to leave their villages and settle the families of the terrorists in these areas instead.
In a relevant context, local sources from the Turkish-occupied Ras Al-Ain area pointed out that members of the Turkish occupation-backed terrorist group called “Hamza Division” have stolen the equipment of the drinking water station in the village of Tal Halaf and transferred them to an unknown destination.
