Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif confirmed that there are no negotiations between Iran and the United States, indicating that it must first redress its behavior.
Zarif said in a statement today that the Americans have proven that their negotiations and results cannot be trusted, pointing out that almost the whole world has reached one conclusion, which is that in the event of any agreement with Washington, the Americans will ignore it whenever it suits them and thus the current American administration should redress its behavior instead of searching for justifications and excuses.
A spokesman for the Iranian Foreign Ministry, Abbas Mousavi, confirmed two days ago that only the US administration is proud of violating international law.
In response to a question about the possibility of his country providing compensation to the British embassy following the storming operation that it was subjected to several years ago, Zarif stressed that Iran takes upon itself to preserve and guard foreign embassies, and that all the country’s officials affirm this point, pointing out that the two parties must negotiate details in this regard, which hasn’t been reached yet.
