Yemen condemns escalation of Zionist enemy in Palestinian territories

Yemen condemned on Wednesday the continuous escalation of the Zionist enemy in the occupied Palestinian territories, the latest of which was the Zionist occupation forces storming into the city of Nablus, which resulted in the martyrdom of 11 Palestinians and the wounding of dozens others.

The Yemeni Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed in a statement that the Zionist escalation will have dire consequences and will negatively affect the security and stability of the region.

The statement called on the international community, and in  forefront of the Security Council, to assume its responsibilities in protecting the Palestinian people, restoring their usurped rights and putting an end to the crimes of the Zionist enemy and its barbaric policies that destabilize security and stability in the region and the world.

The statement renewed Yemen’s solidarity with the Palestinian people in the face of the Zionist aggression, and its support for the Palestinians’ legitimate right to defend themselves and take what they deem appropriate to end the occupation and establish a Palestinian state with Al-Quds (Jerusalem) as its capital.

For their part, a number of Yemeni parties stated that this crime comes in the context of the endless series of Zionist crimes against Palestine’s land, people and sanctities, calling on the freedom-loving peoples of the world and the people of the Arab and Islamic nations to support the resistance of the Palestinian people against the Zionist arrogance.
