London, (ST) – British Prime Minister Boris Johnson stressed that his country will not recognize the annexation of the Israeli occupation parts of the occupied West Bank, stressing that the annexation is a violation of international law.
“The annexation would constitute a violation of international law, and I very much hope that this will not happen, and if (Israel) does so, the UK will not recognize any changes to the 1967 borders except for the agreements agreed upon between the Palestinian and Israeli sides,” AFP quoted Johnson as saying today.
The announcement of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of the Israeli occupation of the intention to implement the annexation plans this month met with Palestinian and international wide rejection because it violates the international law and UN resolutions and end the opportunity to establish an independent Palestinian state geographically connected to the borders of 1967 with al-Quds(Jerusalem) as its capital.
