Ways to enhance Syrian-Venezuelan agricultural cooperation discussed

Damascus-(ST)- The Minister of Agriculture and Agrarian Reform, Engineer Mohamed Hassan Qatna on Wednesday discussed with the Ambassador of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela in Damascus Jose Gregorio Biomorgi Mousates cooperation in the agricultural field, the exchange of products, and the activation of bilateral agreements in this regard.

Minister Qatana stressed the strength of the relationship between Syria and Venezuela, and the importance of developing it in all fields, pointing to the necessity of continuous communication between technicians in the two friendly countries to determine the products that can be exchanged and provide the necessary facilities to achieve.

In turn, the Venezuelan ambassador pointed to the importance of meetings between technicians from both sides to discuss all aspects in which cooperation can be achieved and framed by a comprehensive agreement.

The meeting was attended by the Ministry’s directors of plant production, planning and international cooperation.
