Trade Union of Czech and Moravia stresses support for Syria in defense of its sovereignty, territorial integrity

The Trade Union of Czech, Moravia and Silezko has affirmed the support of the Czech progressive trade unions for Syria in defense of its sovereignty and territorial integrity and called for non-interference in its internal affairs.

In a statement to SANA correspondent in Prague on Saturday, the Union’s Executive Secretary Martin Bec stressed the need to stop the Israeli attacks on Syria and end the US occupation of parts of the Syrian territories.

Bec clarified that the Czech trade unions back Syria’s efforts to end the siege and lift the sanctions imposed on it by western countries.

He condemned the Israeli recent aggression on Aleppo International Airport, describing it as a state terrorism that is completely rejected, pointing out that the Israeli entity is exploiting the difficult humanitarian situation in Syria, resulted from the earthquake, to escalate aggression on the country.
