The Zionist entity’s attacks on Syria a blatant violation of international laws, says Kanaani

Tehran, (ST) – Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Kanaani reiterated that the Zionist entity’s attacks on Syria are a blatant violation of all international laws.

Kanaani on Monday said in his weekly press conference: These actions and attacks on Syria constitute a clear threat to the security and stability of the region. He pointed to Syria’s firm positions towards the Palestinian issue, saying that it is one of the most important pillars of the axis of resistance.

Kanaani added: The responsibility for confronting the terrorist acts of the Zionist entity lies with the international community and all international institutions, especially the United Nations Security Council.

Kanaani said that the policies of the usurping entity are based on transferring the tension and internal disintegration it is experiencing to other countries with the aim of destabilizing security and stability in the region.
