The UAE Knights of Education Initiative enriches Tishreen University with medical and information equipment
By the initiative of the Emirates Red Crescent, and based on the importance of providing support to the students of Tishreen University, two halls were opened in the College of Dentistry (Al Dhafra 1 and Al Dhafra 2), which include 60 treatment chairs and 6 x-ray machines and are equipped with 102 computers.
The Governor of Lattakia, Eng. Amer Ismail Hilal, spoke about this initiative, saying: As part of the initiatives presented by the Emirates Red Crescent Organization, the Naqa’a Residences were including 37 temporary homes for those affected by the earthquake. They were implemented by the national construction companies in Syria, located in several areas in Lattakia and within the next four months, they will be completed.
The Secretary -General of the Emirates Red Crescent Authority, Hammoud Abdullah Jenibi, talked about the initiative, saying: The UAE continues with the directives of the President of the State, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and with unremitting efforts from the Emirates Red Crescent Authority to support the brotherly Syrian people in all fields and work in the post -earthquake period and recovery stage.
The opening was attended by the Secretary -General of the UAE Red Crescent Authority Hammoud Abdullah Jenibi, the Charged’Affairs of the Emirati embassy in Damascus, Abdul Hakim Al -Nuaimi, the head of the UAE Red Crescent delegation, Mohammed Al -Kaabi, the Governor of Lattakia, Eng. Amer Ismail Hilal, the President of the Governorate Council, Tayseer Habib, and the President of Tishreen University. Bassam Hassan.
