Moscow, (ST) – Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov announced that there are no specific time frames for the Russian special military operation in Ukraine. He said that this operation will end when all its objectives are accomplished.
“We have no doubts that the special operation will be completed after achieving all its goals and that the main thing is the effectiveness of the implementation of this operation,” Peskov said in an interview with Iranian television.
He reiterated that the Russian armed forces, during their operations, avoid damaging civilian infrastructure and causing casualties among the civilian population, and therefore operate very accurately and use high-precision weapons.
Peskov pointed out that sanctions are the price that Russia and Iran pay for their sovereignty.
He added, “since the Soviet Union, various restrictions have been imposed on our country, the total number of which is probably in the thousands, and they affect different areas, but this may be the price that our country and Iran pay for upholding their independence and sovereignty.”
