TaKhat Ravanchi: Failure to address issue of Zionist entity’s nuclear weapons will keep dangers of their spread
Iran’s permanent representative to the United Nations, Majid Takht Ravanchi, stressed that failure to address the status of the Zionist entity’s secret nuclear weapons will keep the dangers of proliferation of this type of weapon in the Middle East.
During his speech on Wednesday before the Non Proliferation Treaty (NPT) Review Conference, Takht Ravanchi stressed the need to implement the treaty comprehensively in the world without exception, adding, “double standards in this field have led to the survival of the Zionist entity’s nuclear arsenal as a real threat to the security of the countries of the Middle East.”
On the nuclear negotiations between Iran and the West, Takht Ravanchi said, “The 15 clear reports of the International Atomic Energy Agency emphasized Iran’s implementation of its nuclear commitments according to the nuclear agreement, but the United States withdrew from this agreement in 2018, imposed a unilateral embargo and exerted maximum pressure against Iran to prevent it from benefiting economically according to the agreement. “.
“When America makes the right decision, Iran will stop its compensatory measures and will return to full implementation of the nuclear measures stipulated in the 2015 nuclear deal,” Ravanchi added.
