Riyadh (ST): The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia announced the resumption of its diplomatic mission in Syria.
The Saudi Press Agency, “SPA”, quoted the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs as saying in a statement: “Based on the brotherhood ties that unite the peoples of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Syrian Arab Republic, and out of keenness to contribute to the development of joint Arab action, and to enhance security and stability in the region, and taking into account the decision issued by the ministerial meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of Arab States that was held in Cairo on the seventh of this month, which decided to resume the participation of delegations of the Syrian Arab Republic in the meetings of the Council of the Arab League and all its affiliated organizations and organs, and pursuant to the principles of the Charters of the United Nations and the Arab League, and international charters and norms, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has decided to resume the work of its diplomatic mission in the Syrian Arab Republic.
