Presidential Decree on Raising Compensations and Allowances of Military Personnel
DAMASCUS- President Bashar al-Assad on Sunday issued Legislative Decree No. 20 for the year 2018 on raising the compensation and allowances of military personnel.
According to SANA, the decree stipulates for raising the compensation, allowances and bonuses granted to all military personnel in general by 8 % of the monthly salary.
The decree also provides for a three-fold increase in the salaries of pilot officers to fit the difficult and dangerous tasks facing them and in a way that accords with the salaries granted in this sector.
