Pezeshkian: Israeli occupation’ crimes in Gaza and Lebanon are shameful

Tehran, (ST)- Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian stressed that the behavior of Western media towards the crimes of the Israeli occupation against civilians in Lebanon and Palestine is shameful and a disgrace to those responsible for it.

IRNA quoted Pezeshkian as saying: Which humanitarian law allows the killing of women, children and the elderly, and which humanitarian law allows the bombing of mosques, schools and hospitals, and the question that arises is that civilized countries see this and no voices were raised in the face of all of this.

Pezeshkian added: “If we defend Palestine and Gaza, we are defending the rights of the oppressed,” wondering: “which international law allows cutting off water and food for innocent people until they die of hunger, arent these actions and policies considered as war and is this humanity?”

Pezeshkian continued: “You declare your support for prisoners’ rights, but why don’t you express your concern about what is happening in Palestine, where tens of thousands of people are being slaughtered, and why don’t you raise your voice for these innocent people”.

He added: The Israeli forces blindly assassinated all these innocent people in the streets of Lebanon, by blowing up pagers, but no voice was raised in Western countries against this, which I think is shameful and disgraceful.
