New academic year starts, more than 3.7 million students head to their schools

About 3.7 million students headed to their schools on Sunday signaling the start of the new academic year 2024-2025.

The Ministry of Education said that the total number of pupils and students for this year reached 3.708,694 from various education stages distributed in 14,936 schools

According to the ministry, schools have been well equipped and maintenance works have been conducted for the school desks and appropriate sterilization operations were carried out.
