Mr. Nasrallah: The repercussions of Coronavirus outbreak are more dangerous than any world war

Secretary General of Hezbollah Hassan Nasrallah affirmed that the repercussions of the spread of the Corunavirus in the world may be more dangerous than any world war, indicating that a new world order may arise as a result of it.

Mr. Nasrallah said in a televised speech on Saturday that “the world’s situation has reached an unparalleled level since the Second World War and the repercussions may be more dangerous than any world war, referring to a change in the priorities of countries and the viability of the United Nations and major blocs.

Mr. Nasrallah stressed the necessity of facing the repercussions of the spread of the virus and searching for a cure for it, noting that that we should benefit from the experiences and measures taken by other countries and how to face this pandemic, especially the Chinese experience of challenging this virus.

Mr. Nasrallah indicated that the battle with Coronavirus might be long and it is not possible to know how long it may continue, which places the Lebanese government and state in front of a great responsibility regarding the issue of Lebanese citizens living abroad, including students and travelers.

The Secretary-General of Hezbollah stressed the need to respond to the distress of these Lebanese people abroad, regardless of the risks, provided that this return has to be monitored, safe and not random, stating that their return is not an easy matter and it is a large and difficult file before the state.

Mr. Nasrallah called for stopping the aggression and the unjust war on Yemen, highlighting at the same time the steadfastness of the Yemeni people after five years of aggression.
