Moscow: NATO’s rulers only care about maintaining Western American influence and dominance over the world

Moscow, (ST) – Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Grushko warned of the risk of accidental incidents during the NATO exercises called “Steadfast Defender 2024.”

Novosti quoted Grushko as saying: Any events of this magnitude greatly increase the risk of accidental military incidents and further destabilizes the security situation.  He said that European security interests today are not important to those who rule in NATO, and the main point  for them is preserving American influence and Western hegemony in the world.

Grushko stressed that Moscow possesses all the necessary capabilities to ensure security and defense control in all circumstances.

Deputy Secretary-General of NATO, Mircea Giwana, announced that the Steadfast Defender 2024 maneuvers are the largest NATO military exercises since 1988, and 90,000 individuals, equipped with a wide range of weapons, participate in them.

Giwana added that all allies will participate in the maneuvers, including Romania.
