Lugansk, (ST) –  The forces of the Lugansk People’s Republic announced that the Ukrainian forces bombed the military air defense unit of the republic.

RT website quoted Andrei Maruchko, an officer in the Lugansk forces, as saying on his Telegram channel that “Ukrainian forces targeted the air-military unit with a strong blow.” He added that all necessary measures were taken to ensure the safety of civilians.

Maruchko added that the Ukrainian forces have repeatedly tried to hit the vital civilian infrastructure in Lugansk.

Kiev regime forces continue to bombard the regions of the Lugansk and Donetsk People’s Republics, targeting residential neighborhoods and infrastructure, killing and wounding dozens of civilians.
