Khamenei: Corona epidemic exposes the brutality of Western countries
Tehran,(ST) The leader of the Islamic revolution in Iran, Imam Al-Sayyid Ali Khamenei, emphasized that the Corona epidemic exposed the reality and culture of Western countries.
Khamenei said in a speech broadcast on Iranian television today, “The western culture was embodied in the confrontation with Corona, by emptying the stores, seizing imported masks and acquiring weapons.”
He added, “The piracy of humanitarian aid and the discrimination in treating patients reflects the culture of the West, based on individual materialistic philosophy. The Corona virus exposed the brutal spirit of the West.”
Khamenei considered that the pandemic is a test for governments and peoples, pointing out that the Iranian people have recorded”brilliance” in the Corona confrontation test, and that in Iran sacrifices have been made at the level of doctors, nurses, laboratories, and the Ministry of Health.
