International referee Shadi Al-Shahf participates in the tenth session of the West Asian Junior Football Championship
International football referee Shadi Al-Shahf is participating in the West Asian Federation Football Championship for the junior category in its tenth session, which is hosted by the city of Salalah in the Sultanate of Oman on the 11th to the 20th of this month.
Al-Shahf pointed out in a statement to SANA the importance of this participation for him, as it gives him motivation to continue and opens up horizons for him for upcoming international participation. It also holds him responsible for representing Syrian arbitration in this tournament classified as one of the AFC Championships.
Al-Shahf, who is in the first group, which includes the teams of Oman, Iraq, Yemen, and Lebanon, wished success to the Syrian team, which is playing in the second group, along with the teams of the Emirates, Saudi Arabia, and Jordan.
It is noteworthy that Al-Shahf started refereeing about 14 years ago. He started with Shahba Club and won the international badge about two years ago. He was selected during the recent period within the new Asian Confederation project to develop promising referees and the Asian Academy of Arbitration.
