Information Ministry: There are misleading campaigns led by remnants of the former regime to create chaos

DAMASCUS, JAN.25, (ST)-The Ministry of Information has asserted that Syrian people’s loyalty to their national unity despite the campaigns being launched by false Facebook Accounts that have been created after the fall of the criminal Assad regime to foment sectarian sedition and create chaos in the country.

Press Relations Office at the Ministry of Information said in a statement to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA): Since the fall of the criminal Assad regime, fake pages and electronic flies have appeared on social media to incite sectarian strife and spread rumors, with the aim of creating chaos and media confusion.

It made it clear that these campaigns are being led by parties linked to the remnants of the former regime who commit crimes against the Syrian people in cooperation with some war media professionals.

“The Syrian people’s awareness has foiled these misleading campaigns to achieve their goals, and despite the continuous attempts to stir up strife and spread rumors, the Syrians have remained loyal to the country’s values and adhered to their national unity,” the office said.
