Industrialist, economics assert that decree No. 13 will activate commercial markets in the old city of Aleppo

ALEPPO, Aug.18, (ST)- The Heads of the Chambers of Industry, Commerce and Syrian tourism Federation in Aleppo have stressed that the Legislative Decree No. 13 of 2022 constitutes a great incentive to restore and rehabilitate shops and bring life back to the ancient markets in the old city of Aleppo.

They were quoted by the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) as saying that The decree was a great joy for the commercial and industrial activities in Aleppo, and it comes in response to their old demands, and a quick translation of President Bashar Al-Assad’s visit to Aleppo.

They affirmed that the decree contributes to activating the Syrian economy and the commercial markets in the old city, which is the economic nerve for all industrial and commercial businesses, calling on merchants and industrialists to interact with this decree and take advantage of its advantages through the construction and rehabilitation process.

The decree includes wide tax exemptions for the benefit of shop owners in the old markets and contributes to providing great facilities to the reconstruction process in the old city so that Aleppo can return to be the economic and commercial capital of Syria.
