Governor of Damascus Countryside Inspects the Situation of A number of Displaced Lebanese Families coming to Syria

The governor of Damascus countryside Ahmed Khalil inspected a number of Lebanese families who arrived in Syria following the fascist Israeli aggression against brotherly Lebanon, at their places of residence in the city of al-Sayyida Zeinab in Damascus countryside.

In a press statement, Khalil stressed that Syria was and will continue to support the Lebanese people at all stages and circumstances and will not abandon its duty towards them.

Khalil pointed out that all concerned in the Damascus countryside governorate were instructed to remain ready to respond urgently to emergency situations, provide all support and assistance to arrivals from brotherly Lebanon, pay particular attention to the elderly and children, and ensure their health and food requirements and all their urgent necessary needs.

A number of Lebanese arrivals expressed their deep thanks to the Syrian state, which is doing its utmost  to secure their requirements and supplies, stressing that the two countries are facing a common enemy and that victory is near and inevitably coming.
