Former US Senator: Washington is leading itself to a dead end through the policy of sanctions against Russia

Washington (ST): The former Senator from Virginia and retired US Army officer Richard Black confirmed that the United States is leading itself into a dead end through the policy of sanctions against Russia, describing the policy of America and the West as “irrational and destructive” because it leads to huge economic turmoil in the world.

RIA Novosti quoted Black as saying on his Twitter account : “It is time to stop accusing Russian President Vladimir Putin of high fuel prices because Russia did not impose restrictions on the export of coal, oil and natural gas, but rather the US Congress that imposed them, so let’s stop looking for the culprits somewhere, because they are here with us, referring to US officials.

Black stressed that the US administration, through its policies, will lead to higher energy prices, pointing out that Europe is working on a similar principle.
