EVOTECH Incubator opens new horizons of cooperation with China

Within the framework of strengthening cooperation and expanding partnerships between Syria and China, the Chinese Ambassador in Damascus Shi Hongwei during his visit on Sunday to EVOTECH Incubator, was briefed on the experiences it has achieved since its experimental launch in 2023 .

The ambassador’s visit aims at benefiting from external experiences to develop innovative ideas and transform them into startup companies, which enriches pioneering development thought in Syria.

“The incubator’s team and the advisory committee reviewed, during the Chinese ambassador’s visit,  the most prominent current and future work points in which cooperation with China could be enhanced, which achieved a record in 2019 in establishing startup companies” The Syria Trust for Development said  on its Facebook page

Syria Trust for development stressed that this forms is an opportunity for cooperation in the field of entrepreneurship and startup companies, especially in aspects related to artificial intelligence, and strengthening and developing the infrastructure of technological facilities to reach a long-term partnership between the two parties.

It pointed out that China has been working for a long time to intensify efforts with countries and institutions to improve the technical business environment, which constituted a main topic of dialogue between the Chinese ambassador and the entrepreneurial project teams incubated by young people who presented their vision and listened to China’s experiences in this field, which will help them develop their projects to become future entrepreneurial companies.
