Evan David, a member of the European Parliament from the Czech Republic, strongly criticized the practices of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his violations against the countries of the region and the European negligence of these violations.
In an article published on the Czech Pruty Produ website, David stressed that the European Union as a whole and NATO countries are practicing a policy of burying their head in the sand as an ostrich does towards the aggressive policies of Erdogan against Syria and the aggressive attacks launched by his regime on Greece and Cyprus.
In this context, the European Parliamentarian pointed out that the attempt of Turkish planes to attack the plane that was carrying the Greek Defense Minister in Greek airspace last Sunday indicates that the insolence of the Erdogan regime is increasing day by day, and this matter represents, according to international law, state terrorism.
Greece, which is a member state of the European Union and NATO, has asked several times for help to stop the Turkish provocations, but neither of the two organizations has stood effectively next to them, the MP noted.
