Erdogan’s regime’s authoritarian policies have led Turkey to the brink of collapse

ANKARA, (ST)- Head of the Turkish opposition Republican People’s Party Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu has affirmed that the authoritarian policies of the Turkish regime’s President Recep Tayyib Erdogan have led Turkey to the brink of collapse.

Kılıçdaroğlu said in a statement to a Turkish TV that Erdogan pursues arbitrary and authoritarian policies, especially against journalists, because he does not want them to expose his lies to the Turkish people.

Kılıçdaroğlu clarified that Erdogan wants to rule Turkey together with his brother-in-law, the Minister of Treasury, through authoritarian methods, pointing out that everyone inside or outside the country has no more confidence in this failed couple.

He said that Erdogan’s regime is in a difficult situation especially after recent opinion polls have proved that Erdogan and his party (the Justice and Development Party) have lost popularity.
